When I worked in the accounting industry, I found that most small business owners rarely understood what was required to maintain the bookkeeping and record keeping of their business, and they landed up missing deadlines; being overcharged for accounting fees; and feeling left in the dark as to how their business was actually trading.
Assistance wasn’t really offered to help them make that leap from running their business, to taking charge in their business. And I really wanted to change that. I wanted to offer small business owners more. And that is where Back 2 Business Consulting came in.
With us, you’ll always know how your business is travelling. You’ll always make your deadlines, and you can rest easy knowing all your paperwork is taken care of. With a specialised team of professionals waiting to help you, we can come in and do everything for you, or we can simply review and lodge your BAS, set up your systems or provide training. Our service is fully customised to meet your needs, and we offer fixed fees and hourly rates to suit.

Back 2 Business Consulting is based in South Brisbane, but we will happily travel to the Gold Coast, North Brisbane, Bayside or out West. If you are based in South East Queensland, we can visit your office to work onsite, or we also provide our services remotely Australia-wide if you are interstate.

Meet the Team
Rebecca Snow, owner & Chief Bookkeeper
Rebecca started working in the Accounting industry over 20 years ago. Working in accounting firms for several years before starting Back 2 Business in 2007. She has a wide range of experience, working with lots of different clients across different industries.
With her unique experience of both accounting and bookkeeping, Rebecca is able to cross between both lanes for her clients - from the day-to-day focus of bookkeeping, to the longer-term focus of accounting.
Rebecca has a Certificate IV in Accounting, and is also a registered BAS Agent, meeting the Tax Practitioners Board requirements to provide BAS agent services to her clients.
Lauren EArle, accountant & Bookkeeper
Lauren has been working in accounting since 2016 and has supported clients from all sorts of industries along the way. She knows tax and compliance can feel a bit daunting, so she focuses on keeping things simple, practical, and easy to understand.
As a CPA and registered Tax Agent with a Bachelor of Accounting, Lauren has the technical side covered, but clients appreciate her friendly, approachable style just as much. She enjoys building strong relationships and making sure business owners feel confident and supported, no matter what industry they’re in.
Melissa Powell, Administrator and Bookkeeper-in-Training
Melissa has a background in administration, working predominately in accounting offices, and is currently training to be a bookkeeper. She is an amazing asset to the Back 2 Business team, managing all of the admin for Back 2 Business Consulting, as well as working as the assistant bookkeeper. She is 100% behind the smooth running of our business!
Melissa is a stay-at-home mum with three beautiful little girls, and before her career change into admin and bookkeeping, she worked as a lead educator in child care centres, and managed a family business. Her prior experiences give her a unique experience into running a small business, which also makes her an asset to our clients.
